Do you have a commercial background? Have you worked as a commercial manager or similar in the past? Are you looking to work for an innovative and agile employer?
The role has been created to analyse the potential of future markets that the business intends or wishes to pursue. To conduct the pricing of new and existing business and support the Commercial Director with the contract management and governance of new and existing commercial relationships.
Our client delivers best in class IT retail systems implementation and support services to major retail brands. They have achieved significant growth due to a continued investment in infrastructure and resources, enabling them to sustain their reputation for delivery of first class standards in customer service.

Although IT experience is advantageous, it is not essential as this is a commercial based role.
There is also an opportunity to progress in the future and different roles within the business as they continue to grow.
The standard office hours for the main office are 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. with an hour for lunch Monday to Friday (37.5 hour week).
The Company adopts a positive approach to flexible working and will consider requests from employees who have worked for the company for at least 26 weeks.
Job specification
- To create pricing models based on the customer requirements and the company’s ability to provide profitable business.
- To support the Commercial Director with the contract management and governance of new and existing commercial relationships to ensure commitments on both sides are delivered.
- To draft contracts and addenda from first stage through to conclusion of the bid process. To lead the delivery of new and existing commercial agreements to adequately balance risk and to ensure that all T&Cs are incorporated into all associated collateral and correspondence documents.
- To liaise internally with senior account managers and business development managers at all stages during the tender and contract processes.
- To analyse contract and services profitability in conjunction with the finance department to ensure that the Company is meeting its budget expectations, driving margin improvement and revenue growth.
- To prepare internal and external reports using a variety of different data sources and systems and ensuring the accuracy of the output.
- To provide a source of expertise in carrying out market research.
