Security Installation Engineer – June 2025 Start
Location: Field-based across Surrey, West Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, London & lower Buckinghamshire
Reports to: Installs Department Manager
Salary: Up to £42,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
- Install a variety of systems across Intruder alarms, CCTV, Fire and Access control systems including: Avigilon, Hikvision, Texecom, Paxton, Galaxy, Advanced & Hyfire
- Demonstrate knowledge of both hard-wired and wireless technologies, with a strong understanding of IP systems
- Interpret CAD drawings
- Maintain excellent timekeeping, working independently or as part of a wider engineering team
- Communicate professionally with both clients and colleagues, with an openness to constructive feedback
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Experience in security installations
- Familiar with NSI standards
- Strong time management and professional appearance
Ideal:
- Security screened to BS7858 and DBS cleared
- Understanding of ISO 9001
- Experience in fire alarm installations

Additional Information:
The role involves travelling directly from home to site, with occasional visits to the main office.
Standard working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
Engineers will join a 1 week in 9 on-call rota shared between installation and service teams.
Travel time is paid, with time-and-a-half paid for on-site work outside standard hours. Double-time applies after 12pm on Saturdays and all day Sunday, subject to management discretion. Additionally, resolved telephone support calls are compensated at £5 per call.
