Our client specialises in the development, installation and maintenance of epos and management software / hardware for the petroleum forecourt and convenience retail sector.
They employ field based engineers across the United Kingdom who provide on-site services for hardware repair and replacement.
The role involves the allocation and management of calls referred from the Helpdesk to engineers via email and telephone and when required to assist in the scheduling installations.
Experience in the scheduling of engineers/drivers would be beneficial but they are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative and have a flexible approach to their duties. Therefore full training and development will be provided for the successful candidate.

Duties
- Successfully control and co-ordinate interventions (site visits) for field-based engineers.
- Management of interventions until successful conclusion for customers.
- Call Handling (to receive and log into Database all service calls).
- Controlling and coordinating of daily workloads for field technicians to ensure maximum efficiency and utilisation of resources while maintaining successful service level agreements % and customer satisfaction.
- When required schedule sites installations liaising with customers and other 3rd parties.
- Production of management reports as required.
- Calls for Monday done on a Sunday (Paid for as a overtime payment).
- Update Google calendar with van repairs/MOTs etc…, holidays, sickness, appointments.
- Booking of hotels for service engineers.
Skills
- Good communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and show initiative.
- High levels of attention to detail.
- Conversant with the use of technology.
- Good team player but also able to work on their own accord.
The role is primarily based in the office but after training there is some flexibility and the possibility of hybrid working.
A driving licence would be beneficial but not essential.
